These are images of our back yard. Unlike the spec homes they built, they decided a retaining wall was not needed. Instead, we were stuck with this eye-sore that we will now have to remove and replace at significant cost to us. Never were we asked if we would like to pay for the wall, or given any options at all. Rather, we were simply surprised one day to find this lovely piece of I-90 in our back yard.
Below: The rocks are already (one month in) sliding down the hill and into my back yard. Clearly this was not a good solution.
Below: Standing water, and soggy ground more than a week after the last rain storm that dropped less than a half inch of rain. |
